Hi all, I'm trying to uninstall my ath9k drivers from my CentOs 6 system and use madwifi drivers instead ( I installed the madwifi drivers already ('yum install madwifi'). I've been looking all over the internet for the past couple of week and have not found any leads. Could someone please tell me how to do this? A step by step guide would be much appreciated. I don't know if it is required to unload the ath9k driver before loading the madwifi drivers. Here's a bit of my card info if it helps: Network controller: Atheros Communications Inc. AR928X Wireless Network Adapter (PCI-Express) (rev 01) Subsystem: Foxconn International, Inc. T77H047.31 802.11bgn Wireless Half-size Mini PCIe Card [AR9283] Please get back to me soon Thank you. Hi, My wireless card is almost identical to the one you have, and it may well be the exact same: Network controller: Atheros Communications Inc. AR9285 Wireless Network Adapter (PCI-Express) (rev 01) Anyway, I have used the madwifi driver for about 10 years, but it does not work with my card anymore. I already tried to install it for my card to workaround some issues, but madwifi is not a solution for newer atheros cards now. Ath9k is stable enough now to use reliably with NetworkManager. If you can tell us the problem with your NIC, we could probably better assist you that way. But in case you want to try, you would first need to login as root. Hi, Terribly sorry for the late reply, my internet has been acting funny for a few days, oddly enough. The following statement was given by Susan Kaet, Director of Web Team Group “Converting Microsoft Outlook data file (OST2PST) is a very difficult task to be performed via manual techniques. Ost to pst converter with crack head. With help of manual conversion, there are the big chances of data loss while performing the conversion. Therefore, after performing a lot of research and studies, our developers discovered a converter that focus upon performing the file conversion without any complications. The name of this converter is OST to PST converter, which import data from OST to PST file format. Anyway, ath_pci did not work with your NIC, exactly like mine. Whenever you unload ath_pci, you need to unload ath_hal and everything else it started. Modules often need other modules to function. Once you completely unload ath_pci, you can load ath9k back, although it probably should have worked fine both ways. Can you post the output to these commands here? Iwconfig ifconfig lsusb lsmod thanks, rabbit2345.
